WheelsAndMore (WAM) has just unveiled its latest project for V8-engine of Mercedes Benz CL500/550. The German tuner has given a number of aesthetic and mechanical modifications including power upgrades that makes the new WAM CL45 closer in muscle to its big brother, the Mercedes-Benz CL600.

WAM CL45 delivers 450hp (335kW) compared to the standard CL500/550 with 388hp (285kW) from its 5.5L V8. This new power is closer to 517hp (385kW) from twin-turbo V12 of the standard CL600. Aside the power, WAM CL45 comes also with significantly torque increasing to 770Nm (575lb-ft.). Mechanical refinement to increase power and torque includes a custom exhaust system with sport catalysts and an upgraded manifold, updated ECU and a valve-controlled rear muffler. Balancing the engine refinement WAM has also lowered the car via an upgraded suspension system. Then finishing touch for WAM CL45 are TS-1 ultralight forged wheels.
