Volkswagen Golf VII engine line-up details is available now. This future generation model of Volkswagen will be more efficient and powerful rather than other current model generation. VW Golf VII will be available with petrol and diesel engines. However, an electric model will also be available for the hybrid version.

Volkswagen Golf VII diesel version will be powered with a 2.0-liter unit resulting 181 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. It will be possible that the diesel version will be equipped with a twin-turbo diesel that develops 220 hp.

A 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder unit will be equipped for VW Golf VII petrol model, that will makes the model outputs 138 hp while offering CO2 emissions reduction and better fuel economy.

While for the top of the range from of the model (VW Golf 7 GTI) is still using a 2-liter engine that delivers 260 hp and equipped with a VAQ electronically controlled front differential.
