Protoscar LAMPO All-Wheel-Drive EV Revealed in Geneva


Protoscar LAMPO has made its debut at this year Geneva Auto Show. It is planned to be produced by 2010. Protoscar LAMPO is the first fully electric sports car concepts to use 4WD. Its electric power delivers 268hp (200kW) of power and 440Nm of torque to the all wheels. The electric sport car can reach 200km (124 miles) for single charge. A fully charge takes 12 hours, but cut down to 6 hours would be available at an extra cost for upgraded system.

Protoscar LAMPO’s performance figure is not yet clear but the speedometre indicates that the Swiss sportcar can reach up to 280km/h. Braking performance features regenerative system to give back energy to the two lithium-ion battery system. While the car’s body is made from extensively carbon fiber mounted on the full tubular steel chassis.
