LPG-fueled Chevrolet Spark launched in India


Chevrolet has given the Indian market a factory LPG conversion of the little Spark that just launched by GM Group. The car is developed from the Daewoo Matiz that sold in most of Asia. Chevrolet does not make the pure running on LPG but makes the car can also running on gasoline. It means that the car uses bi-fuel setup.

To make it is ready for LPG, Chevrolet added the Spark with a new sequential port fuel injection for its 1.0-liter, new 4 cylinder engine. The 8V SOHC MPFI LPG engine comes with power of 63 PS in Petrol mode and 60 PS in LPG mode while the torque of 90.3 Nm and 88.4 Nm for Petrol and LPG respectively.

Priced Rs 3.52 Lakh (in Delhi), the Chevrolet Spark LPG version will be equipped with the standard’s 3 year/60,000 mile of warranty in India. At that price, the Chevrolet Spark LPG can be chosen in six colors including Casablanca White, Misky Lake Metallic, Topaz, Blazing Red, Intense Black and Platinum Metallic.
