Hyundai Equus sedans first delivery for US around June
Hyundai Equus, the latest version has been marketed in its town and a few selected countries around the world. The Korean luxury car looks like will enter American market too. It is not a big shock remembering Hyundai has proved its quality with Genesis sedan as the 2009 North American Car of the Year.
According to our source at Hyundai said that Hyundai has planned to sell its luxury car within 2 or 3 years. As preparation Hyundai has used the last month’s New York Auto Show to see the American market opinion. The show leads Hyundai to deliver 100 examples of the car to showcase in dealerships all around the country. Hyundai spokesman Oles Gadacz told USA Today that the first cars will arrive by the middle of the year.
Hyundai’s competitor car for Mercedes Benz S-Class and Lexus LS will be priced about $50,000. The 2010 Hyundai Equus is powered by three engines. The first is a 286hp (213kW) 3.8L Lambda V6 engine was in launching, the second is a 361hp (269kW) 4.6L Tau V8, then the biggest a brand new 5.0L Tau V8 that will be used for Equss’ long-wheelbase model. The long base model powered by 5.0L Tau V8 engine looks like will be available for American market.
