GM’s Holden to Build New Compact Model in 2010


GM’s Holden has released its official teaser sketch of the new local compact car that will available in late 2010 in both four-door sedan and hatchback versions. This compact model will be based on GM’s global Delta small car architecture, the Chevy Cruze as well as the next-generation Opel / Vauxhall / Saturn Astra.

the GM’s Holden compact car will be offered with an array of 4-cylinder direct injected petrol and diesel engines and equipped with front-wheel drive.

Holden also considered a range of alternative fuel or fuel saving technologies including E85, LPG, CNG and start-stop hybrid capability.

Right now, Holden has not explained details about its new compact car’s nameplate, design specifications and pricing.
