Ford Mustang Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary special edition
Ford Mustang Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary has been unveiled after forty-five years introducing in 1964 at New York World’s Fair. The special edition car in unique features will be built limited to only 45. The car will first appear in late July at the Southern Californian Galpin Ford dealership, but the dealer has offered it to public.
Ford Mustang Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary special edition needs two years to make it. It is a result of the collaboration among Iacocca, designer Michael Leone, and coachbuilder Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters. It is largely hand-built and based off the 2009 Mustang platform. Powering this special edition of the legendary sportcar is an option between a 320hp (239kW) 4.6L V8 engine and supercharger 400hp (298kW) engine. These two engines are matted to a five-speed manual transmissions as standard.
The unique features include the sunken headlights, slanted grill and low stance. Inside, the car comes with diamond stitched leather trim, an Iacocca signature dash plaque and serial number, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum door sill plates.
Aside the unique features, the car is also equipped with some modification. The suspension has been upgraded, a Ford Racing Handling Package as standard, re-valved shock absorbers, 20 inch wheels and optional of 14in Ford Racing Braking Package.
