Chrysler has given an official teaser sketch of the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 which based on the recently revealed 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 will likely arrive sometime in 2011.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is powered by a brand new 6.4L HEMI V8 engine that makes power of 500hp (373kW) and torque of 500ft-lb (678Nm). The new engine named the 392 HEMI (likely its capacity in cubic inches) and will make its debut on the updated versions of the Dodge Challenger and Charger in 2011.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 brings a mission of to be the fastest SUV. It means that the SRT8 will compete with the M SUVs from BMW as the fastest SUV.
