Chevrolet Camaro Convertible to be launch in March 2011
General Motors has planned that Chevrolet Camaro is a company’s core product. This decision has been made to solve the company’s problem in the recently hard economic situation. But, it will not be all of Camaro to be produced in nearly time. GM has confirmed that Chevrolet Camaro Convertible to be launch in March 2011 is a part of it planning, however, the high-performance Cameron Z28 had been canceled.
According to Terry Rhadigan, GM spokesman said that production of the highly anticipated drop-top is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2011.
Chevrolet Camaro Convertible will be powered by a high performance 550hp (410kW) 6.2L V8 engine. This engine is borrowed from the Cadillac CTS-V. This powerful power source will make the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible to be a serious competitor for Dodge Challenger SRT8 and Shelby Mustang GT for reaching muscle car king “award”.
Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, it will be a medicine for GM being sad after the $50 million development price tag of Z28 being cancelled.
