Aston Martin released more pictures of its 510 horsepower V12 Vantage which was unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The latest pictures of British supercar show the V12 Vantage in two colors. Priced at a hefty $209,000 in the UK ( $80,650 more than a V8 Vantage), the Aston Martin V12 Vantage (2010) will compete with the other supercars such as the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, Porsche 911 GT2 and Ferrari F430.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage (2010) is powered by a 6.0-liter engine that makes 510 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 420 pound-feet of torque. This engine is faster than the V8 version as well as from 0- 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and top speed of 190 mph. The six-speed manual transmission engine is 100 kg more than the standard car’s engine. But it is not a problem since the car features ultra light chassis. Compared to the standard’s 6.0-litre V12 found in the DB9, the V12 version is more advanced with amount refinements include a ‘by-pass’ engine air intake port and re-profiled air inlet port.
The V12 Vantage (2010)’s external dimensions is not different from the V8 version. The V12 Vantage has been extensively revised forward of the suspension towers to house the larger engine, twin air intake system, and brake cooling system.
Interior of the exotic supercar is equipped with high quality materials and exceptional craftmanship. The carbon fiber and Alcantara are standard for interior of Aston Martin V12 Vantage (2010).
