Aston Martin has just published the first official image of its new Rapide model that will make its debut as production model at the Frankfurt Motor Show in December. Previously Aston Martin Rapide has made its debut as concept car at the 2006 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Aston Martin Rapide comes with amazing combination between its engine and the exterior styling and wants to be the world’s most elegant four-door sports car as said Aston Martin Chief Executive, Dr. Ulrich Bez: “The Rapide will be the most elegant four-door sports car in the world. It completes the Aston Martin range conveying our established attributes of Power, Beauty and Soul.” Dr Ulrich Bez continued “Rapide will exceed expectations to deliver elegance and practicality in a form that will allow driving enjoyment and comfort beyond anything that exists today. The Rapide will exist in a class all of its own, a true Aston Martin with the high performance and dynamic excellence that defines the brand, and a luxurious sporting grand tourer without equal.”

Aston Martin Rapide’s details has not yet been released but it is believed that power source for this British supercar will come from a 6.0-liter V12 engine coupled witha Touchtronic transmission and producing 470 bhp (350 kW) and 600 Nm of torque.
