Acura Crossover Concept Teased ahead of New York Auto Show

Acura has just released one more teaser of a new concept due to arrive at next month’s New York Auto Show. Acura does not want to say much about their vehicle now so that the company just released the teaser image again. Just a teaser doesn’t say anything too much. But at least according to the image, the Japanese Luxury car will have angular shape in the front and rear fenders. It is just like BMW X6 crossover that taken by camera in the past. While Acura has announced planning to add an all new car model into its line-up for 2010 as it continues to strive for Tier 1 status. Some sources said that the car is built based on the current MDX SUV and called MSX. There is an expectation that the new Acura car to be fitted with a more powerful version of Acura’s 3.7L V6 engine that makes 300hp (225kW) as well as new six-speed automatic transmission. If the expectation is a real, a new Acura MSX will come with higher price than the current MDX. The pricing between $42,000 and $49,000 is something reasonable for the upcoming Acura MDX.
