2010 Ford Taurus SHO
Ford has unveiled its high performance sedan flagship, 2010 Ford Taurus SHO. Introduced in 1989, for 20th year model is powered by a 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 producing 365-hp. Via a six-speed 6F55 SelectShift transmission the horsepower will be transfer to all wheel drive system. SelectShift transmission controlled via paddle shifters is uniquely providing two mode options, conventional automatic operation or a manual shift mode.
2010 Ford Taurus SHO will be sold this summer with price starting at $37,995. Standard features include: push-button start, the Easy Fuel capless fuel filler, ambient lighting, Ford SYNC with voice activation, and MyKey. The MyKey is special feature which enables the owner to set specific limits such as 80 mph. While optional features include a reverse camera, radar-based adaptive cruise control, blind spot alert, Cross Traffic Alert (for reversing into traffic), massaging seats, voice-activated navigation, and a 12 speaker 390-watt Sony sound system.
Ford also offers a sport upgrade package for sport enthusiast consisting of upgraded brake pads, recalibrated power-assisted steering, a sport mode setting for the standard AdvanceTrac Electronic Stability Control, and a shorter 3.16 to 1 final drive ratio for faster acceleration. And completing this sport package are 20-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 performance tires on premium painted wheels.
