Chevrolet is about to update the entire its cars range for the 2010 model year, including from the base model all the way up to the scorching ZR1 supercar. This makes improvement on the Grand Sport Model that comes with widebody styling, new control system, new gearing, new brake and race-bred suspension. Corvette has released the pricing for the Grand Sport Coupe. According world�s largest Corvette dealer Kerbeck Corvette, the Grand Sport Coupe starts from $55,720 and the Grand Sport Convertible at $59,530, including delivery for both. These are $6,205 and $5,360 higher than the 2009 model year cars respectively. There are available four exterior colors and two-tone seats with Grand Sport embroidery.

Fortunately, the higher price brings a higher speed as well as the Grand Sport models 0.2 seconds faster hitting 0-60mph in just 4 seconds. This new performance is an effect of new gearing from its engine. The LS3 engine delivers 430hp (321kW) and 424lb-ft (575Nm) of torque. Equipped with an optional two-mode exhaust system, the engine can give more output to 436hp (325kW) and 428lb-ft (580Nm).

The exotic Corvette Grand Sport rolls on front’s 18in wheels with 275mm tires and 19in wheels with 325mm. Specifically it now has Z06-spec brakes, the front’s 355mm rotors with six-piston calipers and rear’s 340mm rotors with four-piston calipers.
