Peugeot 308 GT THP 175 powered by a 1.6 litre turbo-charged engine will deliver more power combined with better fuel consumption. The petrol engine with a new 6-speed manual gearbox, previously found in the 207 GTi THP 175 delivers more power of 175bhp at 6000 rpm but at the same time comes with 37.1 mpg of fuel consumption. Powerful engine is completed with the torque that is also amazing 180 lb ft at only 1600 rpm. It does not stop here. There is also 195 lb ft for an option. Armed with higher torque, the engine gives excellent in acceleration which is normally associated with a larger capacity engine. The engine is not only better in power, torque, fuel consumption, but also better in CO2 emissions at 180 g/km. It is 10% less than those of the 307 2.0 litre Feline 180.
