2009 Chrysler GEM Peapod
Unveiled in last September, Chrysler GEM Peapod comes with a new look to introduce the next generation of clean, gas-free and emission-free. This ecofriendly vehicle is made from recyclable materials. So it is really green car for better future environment.
Chrysler GEM Peapod has a top speed of 25 miles per hour, up to 30 miles range per single charge (battery charge is extended through use of regenerative braking) and are street legal in more than 40 states. You can charge anytime, anywhere with a standard 110-volt outlet for about six to eight hours.
Interior comes with modern minimalise, ergonomic, supportive, mesh seating, which enables air circulation and equipped with iPod integration, and handsfree operation.
The Peapod is scheduled for production in 2009. Earth Day will be used to launched this ecofriendly car, while selling time later. While pricing for 2009 Chrysler GEM Peapod is about $12,500.
Chrysler GEM Peapod’s zero-emission brings more versatility than the standard fuel engine vehicle for this area such as planned communities, state and national parks, city centers, college campuses, military bases, corporate and commercial centers.
Future planning is more versatility as you can see below. It has dreams of proliferating and adding a two seater, called the Twinpod, as well as a mini-pickup and van.
