VW Race Touareg 3 has been unveiled by Volkswagen as their new Dakar fighter. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.5-litre TDI engine (coupled with a ZF-Sachs three-plate ceramic clutch and an upgraded five-speed sequential gearbox), VW Race Touareg 3 may outputs 300 PS and 442 lbs ft of torque.
VW Race Touareg 3 may accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.1 seconds and will reach its top speed at 117 mph. Sits on BF Goodrich 235/85 R16 tires, VW Race Touareg 3 were especially developed for the Dakar rally car.
VW Race Touareg 3 also comes with a high-strength steel spaceframe chassis with a pair of springs and damper.

Hankook TMR Mitsubishi Evo X rally car will compete in the Quit Targa West. The Hankook TMR Mitsubishi Evo X rally car will be driven by Australian motoring journalists Dean Evans and Samantha Stevens.
Hankook TMR Mitsubishi Evo X rally car will use the company’s Ventus TDZ221 R-spec tires while promoting the tires with the same name.
